Effektiv Spenden receives 2.18 million euros in growth financing

With 2.18 million euros, the U.S. organization Open Philanthropy is supporting the donation portal Effektiv Spenden. With this multi-year funding, the most effective donation portal in Germany and Switzerland can continue its dynamic growth. Since its founding in 2019, Effektiv Spenden has directed more than 40 million euros to nonprofit organizations that are many times more effective than average.

Effektiv Spenden is committed to ensuring that support for organizations with a proven above-average impact becomes the new standard for donations. The medium-term goal of Effektiv Spenden is to allocate at least 100 million euros per year to organizations whose outstanding effectiveness has been confirmed by independent experts.

The donation portal Effektiv Spenden offers users in Germany and Switzerland the opportunity to find out about highly effective international organizations and to make tax-privileged donations to them. In addition, Effektiv Spenden also offers personal advice. The organization is non-profit and is financed exclusively by donations.
