Effektiv Spenden recognized as a top-rated charity

Effektiv Spenden was recognized by the international organization Giving What We Can (GWWC) as one of 14 international “Top-rated Charities.” GWWC supports its members in donating to the most effective nonprofit organizations possible. According to GWWC, Effektiv Spenden is a “Giving Multiplier,” meaning it is highly successful in acquiring and forwarding donations to highly effective organizations, making donations to Effektiv Spenden itself highly impactful. With every euro a donor provides for the operation of Effektiv Spenden, we mobilize many times more in additional donations.

In their statement, GWWC writes: “Effektiv Spenden meets our criteria to be top-rated because one of our trusted evaluators, Founders Pledge, has conducted an extensive evaluation highlighting its cost-effectiveness. This was done as part of Founders Pledge’s report on Giving Multipliers (see their more extensive report to learn how they analyzed the cost-effectiveness of Effektiv Spenden).”

We are very pleased with this recognition. Finding our name among organizations whose work has impressed and inspired us for many years is a wonderful year-end gift—and we are also a little proud of it.
